September 2001 - present [September 2004], since I started university and moved out of parents home. It brought me closer to my family because I wasn't living with them, and closer to my friends because of a better social life. | Your main endowments, characteristics, and qualities |
I am a generous and giving person, always trying to help others before myself. I don't like bitching, would always try to say something good about someone before thinking something bad. I have had a good upbringing and a fortunate life, and therefore I am quite warm and generous. Generally I'm an optimistic person who likes going out and socialising with friends a lot (sometimes too much!). Friends find me trustworthy when it counts, although I do enjoy a good gossip, never malicious though. I have a good sense of humour and am always laughing. I believe a smile and a laugh is contagious. I like having my own space sometimes, but I'm not a loner and equally prefer the company of others. I can get in a bad mood sometimes over silly things, but don't sulk for long. I worry about things quite a lot, but only the things I can control. I believe in fate and therefore don't worry about things I don't believe I can control. I am quite a dreamer, like thinking about things and wishing how things could be, but I'm also a realist and realise that dreams don't always come true. I'm a perfectionist and always tidying things. I like neatness, but also like spontaneity | I'm very weird, intelligent, judgmental, bad-tempered, never the same person, indecisive, positive, give up easily, lucky, distractible and humorous
| The work you have done for a living, and your interests and hobbies |
I worked my way through university where I studied business studies. I've worked in customer services in a clothes shop, in a financial institution, and I'm currently in a marketing job in the tourism industry. My ambition is to have a successful career in marketing. I don't like being idle, so I have lots of hobbies, including going jogging, walking, cinema, reading, and visiting friends and family. I also volunteer for dog-walking charity and as a Childline volunteer | Work: I've worked as a waitress, hostess, medical billing consultant, pharmacy assistant, owned a restaurant, and I am currently going to college to get a degree in technology Hobbies and interests: no information was provided
| Your favourite colours, clothes, and type of shoes |
Blue is my favourite colour. I always buy blue T-shirts and jumpers, and I like jeans and casual clothes. I'm never out of trainers unless I'm going on a night out, when I like to make an effort and would usually get quite dressed up. I always wear natural make up though, because I don't like looking false or making a pretence. What you see is what you get! I feel most comfortable wearing blue, especially pastel blue as it matches my eyes. I also wear pastel pinks, a lot of white, and occasionally black. I have a mixture of designer labels and high street clothes, but I don't buy something because of price or who makes it, more if I suit it and it jumps out at me in the shop. I hate looking for things or spending a long time shopping, and tend to buy the first thing I see that I like and that suits me | Favourite colours: black and white. Clothes and shoes: I love american eagle jeans, and converse shoes - anything that is not ordinary. Every day I want to be comfortable and able to move around a lot. When I worked in an office I dressed very smartly and fashionably. When going out I like to dress very attractively, but not to the point where I'm trying too hard
| What kind of art, books, magazines, music, and movies are to your taste? |
Art: I like peaceful landscape pictures, quite modern, not old water-colours or abstract art. I especially like pictures of sea and sky as I find blue calming. Magazines: I'm addicted to magazines, buy every celebrity/gossip magazine going. Also, I like reading fitness and lifestyle magazines occasionally. Music: I can listen to pretty much anything apart from heavy metal or hard rock or trance-inducing dance tunes. Sometimes I like slow relaxing music, other times upbeat cheesy numbers. Movies: I love movies, ands I'm always buying DVDs and going to the cinema. I enjoy action films, romantic comedies, drama, and Disney movies (sad I know!), and I'll generally give anything a go | Art: I dislike art - very boring - don't understand it very well, but I like cubism and anything abstract. Books: I love to read - my favorites are true crime novels, psychology and Star Wars books. Magazines: I only read Cosmopolitan. Music: I like everything from classical to rock, but I don't like country music. Movies: I don't like to watch anything that makes me cry. Everything I watch has to be comedy or horror
