| Your main endowments, characteristics, and qualities |
Positive qualities: sensitive, compassionate. I have no issue yielding to others wills as I am not excessively proud. I have very keen observational skills. I am capable of learning and in fact learn best by self absorption/immersion of a subject via observation. I have a natural talent for music and art and am rather creative. I have been told that I'm well spoken and have a talent for articulating complex ideas in a simple way that others can understand. Negative qualities: I'm too sensitive (take everything personally and get feelings hurt very easily). I'm a pleasure glutton, people have told me I am too preoccupied with my feelings and wants (self-centered), I can be whiny, lazy, play the victim, very irresponsible and childish, prone to hysterical outbursts when feelings have been hurt, unwilling to deal with reality and prone to repression, denial, escapism as a fault. Also, I tend to either let my environment become a horrible cluttered mess, or I fanatically obsess over the smallest details and over-organize everything... I need to find more balance in this regard... |

| The work you have done for a living, and your interests and hobbies |
I've made money independently via Internet commerce (read: eBay :D) and I've worked in telemarketing for a while (oh god that sucked). Currently I'm an unemployed bum. I'm more of a homebody than someone who goes out a lot. I don't need a lot of external stimulation. I'm an introvert. My interests are computers & Internet (chatting and debating with people over net forums and newsgroups especially), music (particularly rock), astrology and everything arcane/paranormal (tarot, astrology, UFOs, etc., its all good, nutrition and health (especially learning about the science involved), and art (I am artistically talented and quite enjoy sketching, drawing, painting on paper and the computer as well) |

| Your favourite colours, clothes, and type of shoes |
Color is something I perceive emotionally and not so much logically. Therefore, there is not merely one or two colors I like. I like all kinds of colors, but not all presentations of them. Presentation and form of color is everything to me. It's something that grips me or doesn't. The actual color is less important than the way it is presented, in my opinion... other colors, textures, and in what amounts that are present along with that color. The whole of the thing needs to have certain qualities that cannot be confined to a color alone. That said, my favorite perceptions of colors are those which appear "shimmery", "pearlescent" or "holographic": the complementary layering of non-opaque hues in such a way as to give depth and mystery. It's hard to explain, but it's something that I feel very strongly about when I see it. It has to give a sense of depth. It has to be beautiful, and part of that beauty must be from a subtle allure, a hidden mystery. Paradoxically, there has to be a feeling of wholeness, completion and order among this chaos as well. The style of clothing I most favor is delicate and feminine. I like to wear subtle, beautiful, fragile things preferentially. I pay attention to the details of my appearance. I love feet and I love doing my nails & wearing beautiful sandals which complement them. I love all the different nail polish colors and look forward to choosing wearing them. I also love makeup and tend to go for a smokey-earthy eyed look, with minimal lip color & a light gloss or shimmer. I don't mean to sound like I am very high maintenance, in reality most days I just dress very casually out of laziness, unfortunately. Not to sound like a slob either but... ah... you get the idea I think |

| What kind of art, books, magazines, music, and movies are to your taste? |
I am very discerning with my music tastes. I don't like 99% of bands but that 1% I tend to feel very strongly about. My tastes are diverse, but I am going to come right out and say I LOVE rock music, I am totally biased in favor of it. I admit most all of my music falls in the rock category. I definitely have a preference for bands which are dark... not so much corny and "gothic" but more mysterious, in that a feeling of an indulged morbid curiosity permeates the sound. It is a big plus if the sound and lyrics are described by others as "eerie" or "creepy" and "depressing". A sense of melody is very important, I do NOT like discordant noise. Therefore, my bands must also have good pop sensibilities. A perception of order among chaos is important for me... I guess I am a coward. Then again, I also quite like music that can be fun and light. For example, I am fond of [the band] Outcast. However, I don't at all feel as intensely about these "fun poppy" bands as I do my preferentially enjoyed "darker" ones. To give you an idea of my tastes, my favorite band is Failure. I think the band Failure comes as close as anyone ever has at describing an ideal sound (if such a thing exists). They incorporate just about every element I am attracted to musically. Some mainstream bands that I am into right now, though, are Auf Der Maur, QOTSA, A Perfect Circle, The Start, and Incubus. In movies I, again, like them darker, edgy, etc... drama. My favorite actor is DeNiro. My favorite movie is "The Silence of the Lambs". |
